Credits points 1,2,3,4,6,12 are provided by Anna University under various categories. and Also Grade Points such as S,A,B,C,D,E,U,I,W are also provided by Anna University under certain categories. Details of the Anna University Grades System and Credits System is as follows. Credit system details for each course (subject/paper) A theory course of 45 hours duration – 3 credits. A theory course of 45 hours with additional 15 hours of laboratory classes or tutorial classes – 4 credits A practical course of 45 hours of laboratory classes – 2 credits A practical course of 30 hours of laboratory classes – 1 credit. UG project work in the final semester of 180 hours – 6 credits Masters' degree project work is divided into two phases Phase-I in III semester – 180 hours – 6 credits Phase-II in IV semester 360 hours – 12 credits A masters student should obtain about 67 credits to complete his course.
