How to Calculate Internal Marks? Each Paper will get 20 Marks as Internal Mark. The 20 Marks will be preferred based on Attendance Percentage and Internal Assessment Test (Cycle Test / Monthly Test / Model Test) Marks. From the 20 Marks, 5 Marks will be awarded for Attendance Percentage and the balance 15 Marks will be awarded for the Academic Performance in the Internal Assessment Tests of the Semester. How to calculate Attendance Marks?   Attendance Percentage : Internal Marks for Attendance Percentage is as follows Attendance Percentage Internal Marks < 75% 0 Marks / Attendance Shortage 75 % to 80 % 1 Mark 80 % to 85 % 2 Mark 86 % to 90 % 3 Mark 91 % to 95 % 4 Mark 96 % to 100 % 5 Mark Calculate the attendance percentage by the following simple formula. Attendance Percentage = (Total Attended days / Total working days) x 100 For Example, consider the following is your Attendance on report Attendance  Period for Subject 1 Total Periods Attended Periods Attendance Period 1 17 17 Attendance Period 2 25 18 Attendance Period 3 35 30 Attendance Period 4 27 27 Total 17+25+35+27= 104 17+18+30+27=92 Attendance Percentage Attended Periods / Total Periods * 100 è 92 / 104 *100 = 88.46=88 Internal Mark for Attendance Percentage 3 Marks (for 88 %) Internal Marks calculation for Internal Assessment Test  Internal Assessment Test (IAT) for Subject 1 Actual Mark (Out of 100) Covert into Internal Marks (Out of 5) (Actual Marks / 100 * 5) IAT 1 91 91 /100 * 5 = 4.55 = 5 IAT 2 83 83 /100 * 5 = 4.15 = 4 IAT 3 53 53/100 * 5 = 2.65 = 3 Total Internal Marks (Out of 15) 5 + 4 + 3 = 12 As per the above example : Total Internal Marks = Internal Marks for Attendance Percentage + Internal Marks for IAT Marks = 3 + 12  = 15 Therefore Total Internal Marks = 15
