1.PAPER PRESENTATION

· The competition is open to all undergraduate students.

§ Maximum 2 participants per teamNo participants can be part of more than one team.

· Last date for submission of full paper is 10.03.2014 and sent to velocty2014@gmail.com

· Participants of shortlisted candidates will be intimatedthrough E-Mail by 12.03.2014and they would have to send reply confirming their participation.

· Work should be original and in the specified format.

· The selected teams have to bring a soft copy of paper in CD and 2 hard copies of paper at the time of presentation.

· Directly copying from the internet is strongly discouraged and will not be entertained.

· There is no restriction on the number of teams from the same college.

· The participants should come with college ID card and Bonafide Certificate.

Presentation Rules

· The paper submitted will have to be presented during the event.

· Hard copies of the same are to be submitted before presentation.

· The Teams will get 8(5+3) minutes to present their paper.

· It will be followed by a question and answer session.

· The participants will have to present their papers in MS-Power Point (ppt) format only.

· Violation of any rule can result in rejection of paper.

· The organizers reserve the right to change/update the rules of the contest at any point of time and will do their best to inform to participants of the same. However, it is ultimately theresponsibility of the teams to keep themselves updated.

Paper Format Rules

· The paper should be in A4 format.

· The front page should have title of paper on the top and the details of the team members (asmentioned in the abstract) at the bottom.

· It should have abstract and certificate attached after front page.

· Font style for text: Times New Roman.

· Font size for text: 12 points.

· Font size for headings: 18 points.

· Font size for sub-headings: 14 points.

2. Business Plan

PLAN DE NEGOTIO (BUSINESS PLAN)

· Business plans may be submitted by individuals or by teams.

· The event is open to all undergraduate students.

· There must not be more than 3 in a team.

· Executive summary, containing the expansion of concepts outlined must be sent through e-mail on or before 10^thMarch, 2014 and the selected plans will be intimated through e-mail.

· The subject of the e-mail (velocty2014@gmail.com) should be BPLAN

· Teams should bring soft copy in CD and Hard copy while attending competition.

· Final-round submission will be judged according to the following criteria:

o Is the business financially feasible?

o Quality of products, services and/or solutions

o Market opportunities and competition

o Team contribution

o Overall attractiveness of the venture

4. Maximum 60 minutes given for making the product

6. The event is open to all Undergraduate students.

4. Brain Ring (BUSINESS QUIZ)

Two per team

· Judges decisions will be final

· Teams should maintain dignity with in the event hall.

· Register through mail on or before 10.03.2014. The subject of the e-mail should be BUSINESS QUIZ

· Event is open to all undergraduate students.

5.AZ- ELITE (BEST MANAGER)

Formal dress code.
Preliminary rounds will be conducted on the same day.
Resume must be sent on or before March 10, 2014 through mail ( velocty2014@gmail.com)

6.Ad zap (FUN EMPORIA)

Maximum of 5 students in a team.

· Avoid imitation of existing brand.

· Theme or Product will be given 15 min prior

· Obscenity and vulgarity will lead to disqualification

· Judges decision will be final

· Judging criteria – creativity, theme, presentation, clarity of message, humor will be considered along with judge's consent.

· Enact for 5 minutes.

GENERAL RULES

All participants should report at the registration desk before 8.30am.
Participants must bring their college ID cards. Only "Undergraduate" students are eligible for the event.
Formal dress code should be followed by all the participants failing which will not be permitted to participate in the event
Decision of the panel members is final.
Materials for business plans are to be brought in pen drives and CDs only.
The candidates should follow the general rules for smooth conduct of events.
For every event, cash prizes will be awarded
Overall championship will be awarded.
